In Ephesians 6:10, the apostle Paul writes, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”
God encourages and desires a strong faith! We should all be growing in our faith. But are we? Sometimes it can be difficult when we don’t know what’s next, or going to come, but we all must have faith.
1 Peter 2:2 says:
“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.”
2 Corinthians 10:15:
Not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other men’s labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere,
God blesses it! Everyone needs commitment and perseverance. Thats something you will need if you seek to exercise yourself in godliness.
God provides it! Everything God has ever asked from us, he has already provided for us.
1 Peter 1:3 says: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
Train, work and discipline yourself.
God has given us the environment for a strong faith!
In 2 Peter 1:5, it is written: “For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge.”
Your spiritual appetite must grow!
Colossians 3:1-2
Therefore, if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Keep your minds on things above, not on things on the earth.
You can control your actions, but not always reactions. Control your emotions, and attitudes, and faith. Worry is a steeler of gratitude. Doubt is a taker of trust. Stress is a thief of joy. Unbelief kills your hope to believe.
2 Corinthians 5:9 says, “So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.”
John 5:30 says:
“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.”
The will of God is for your faith to be strong. I hope this encourages you!
Until next time, sincerely, Eden Pelletier.
